Canara Bank Anaikkatti branch sponsored Canara Vidhya Jyothi Scholarship Scheme given to the meritorious SC and ST Girl Students of GTHS Mattathukad. The function arranged at Smart class room of our school on 7th October 2020. The program begin with prayer by our school children. The Headmaster Sri. Mathivanan S welcome the gathering. Presidential address delivered by Senior teacher Sri. Manickam P. The scholarship amount distributed by the Branch Manager Sri. Giri Prasad. It was followed by a formal vote of thanks by Office Staff Sri. Arunkumar M and the event concluded with National Anthem.

74th INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

Independence Day celebrations at school often mean a beautifully decorated campus in ribbons and balloons of the national flag’s colours, students proudly singing the anthem and looking forward to present some amazing dance and song performances. But this year, Covid-19 has shut schools indefinitely and added a twist to the 74th Independence Day celebrations. The fervour remains, but most educational institutions are opting for a virtual route. 

 

At Governemnt Tribal School, Mattathukad, Headmaster, Sri. Mathivanan S hoisted the flag with our school senior teacher Sri. Manickam.

Govt. Tribal High School, Mattathukad is located in Rural area of Palakkad district of Kerala State, India at a distance of about 45 km from Mannakkad Town and is characterised by its lush green beauty.

Medium of instruction is Tamil language and school is Co-educational.School is affiliated with Kerala State Board. School encourages the students to take part in various co-curricular activities held in school.

When  the  school  started  functioning  in   1964, It was a GTUPS Mattathukad.   In the year 2011 June, the school was upgraded   as  high  school through RMSA Project. As  years  passed  GTHS Mattathukad   was  progressed  by  leaps  and  bounds.
